Dasrath Prasad Ramnandan Pandey B.Ed. College, Jamhor, Bihar, is an affiliated institution for teacher training. This affiliated college was established in the year 2010. For the past decade, this co-ed institute has been engaged in the task of moulding future teachers. The institute is approved by NCTE; thus, the institution follows all standards laid down by NCTE regarding teacher education. It has two full-time courses, namely B.Ed., on the compact campus of 0.629 acres. The programs under its belt include D.Ed. and D.El.Ed. The College imparts two regular full-time academic courses, namely Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.). B.Ed. consists of a two-year program with an intake of 150 approved seats, which is targeted at secondary and higher secondary levels in teaching. Another course offered is the D.El.Ed. course; it is a two-year course with 100 seats, aiming to prepare teachers at the elementary level.
