DKT College of Education, Tirupur was established in 2004 the institution aims at determining the future of education. This co-educational college is established in Tirupur, Tamil Nadu and it is extended over an area of five acres of land where the students and faculties can effectively enhance their teaching educations. Being affiliated with the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), as a college the institution upholds good standards for teacher training programs. The institute is currently conducting three full time courses with 200 number of student enrolment for a staff of 23 well experienced faculty members.
The college has put up a number of facilities to ensure that the learning process of the students is improved through technology. At the center of these facilities is a modern library fitted with software to access, print, copy and scan. Non-fiction and reference books include 8,816 textbooks, 4,261 titles and 542 reference books apart from yearly subscription to different journals, magazines and digital databases. Regarding practical atmosphere, the college offers departmental laboratories to let the students practice what is being taught in class.
