About Eden Gardens College of Education, Perambalur

Eden Gardens College of Education, Perambalur, was founded in 2008, and has since then blossomed ‘into an institution that focuses on producing educators of tomorrow’. Located in Tamil Nadu, India, this affiliated college has been offered accreditation by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the fact which reflects the college commitment to provide quality teacher education. Located in a 5.06 acre of lush green environment, the learners are provided with a proper platform at Eden Gardens for their learning process. Currently, the college is providing education to 190 students with the help of 15 highly committed members of faculty. 

It is equipped with number of facilities aimed at improving learning of the college’s student populace. At the heart of these amenities is a well-stocked library, open from 8:00 Monday to Friday 00 AM to 4:00 PM for the working days’ students to access book, magazines, journals, newspaper and other reference sources in academic reasons. Accomplished laboratory facilities are available for the use of students since the college encompasses practical learning environments. An auditorium is an enclosed area; it houses events and seminars to encourage significant discussions and other cultural activities.

Eden Gardens College of Education currently offers one primary course award Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme. This is a full-time programme lasting for two years with the aim of of producing competent teachers in teaching and education. The college has been granted an intake of one hundred for this programme showing its capability to produce a large number of instructors in future each year. Eden Gardens B.Ed course includes voluntary teaching practice for each candidate covering theoretical part as well as ensures that they are capable to face the challenges of modern education.
