Government Polytechnic for Women Minorities, Badangpet, was established in the year 1998 and is one of the premier Technical Institutions located in Hyderabad, Telangana. This is an affiliated college that is recognised by the AICTE and the college aims at giving quality education to women candidates belonging to the minority section. Located in a vast 5-acre compound, the institute provides adequate learning atmosphere to any aspiring engineer student. This college admits 208 students in an academic year and employs faculty of 16 teachers to allow individual and appropriate guidance to each enroled learner. The institute offers three diploma courses, each of which focuses on modern areas of engineering.

At present, the institute provides three full time diploma courses out of which each course takes three years to complete. These programmes are offered for various branches of engineering making sure that the students acquire great background in the engineering discipline they intend to pursue with the help of these degree programmes. The capacity for all courses was approved to take 160 students in a year. The intake capacity for the Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering is of 60 students as is the case for the Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering while that for the Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering is 40 only. These highly prescriptive and planned programmes intended to provide the students with the adequate theory as well as skills in order to succeed in the ever-growing and progressing technologically-based field.

To take admission either through entrance examination or based on 12th percentage.
Since you have not mentioned the college name and course along with you have not mentioned that whether you are asking about the entrance exam or merit-based.
So it is quite difficult to answer properly. So I am telling you in general.
Some courses accept entrance marks for admission while some allow candidates through their 12 percentages.
In general, For Btech are students needs to score at least 50% marks aggregate for the general category while 45% marks for reserved candidates. In JEE mains examination, there is a criterion of 75% marks in 12th compulsory to be eligible for sitting in the examination.
