GSN College of Education, situated in Mahabubnagar, Telangana, is a reputed college having focus on teacher education. This college is an affiliated college which started in the year 2007 and it has been preparing future educators. Recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the college follows the education standards of the country. Located in a vast space stretching to 5 acres, GSN College of Education provides a healthy learning environment. At present, it has 154 students and 16 teaching staff which makes the ratio of students to teacher favourable for effective training and improved teacher-student relationship.

GSN College of Education has various forms of resources meant to improve the quality of learning for students in the college. Every good library stocks up knowledge that is important for the preparation of future teachers. The college has an auditorium where different functions and seminars are held, thus promoting debate intellectual as well as cultural ones. The infrastructure level of interactive technologies provides students with the knowledge of the modern tools that can be used in their studies. To make sure that the student is not only academically complete but also physically capable, the college has sport facilities and a gym. Th teaching departments provide practical, manual training since nobody becomes a teacher without experiencing the fundamentals in a laboratory setting. It includes cafeteria, a health centre with first aid facilities, guest houses for the visiting faculty and their family members and therefore, makes the campus a self sufficient educational environment.

GSN College of Education offers two full-time course, that is the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) programme. This two year course aims to produce quality professional teachers who will contribute to productivity in teaching profession. The institute has an intake capacity of one hundred students. The B.Ed programme encompasses theory and practice of teaching so that the graduates fit the complexity of today’s education. 

Since GSN College of Education is a State government and Union Territory administration, the admission policy is based on merit, as a guideline set by the State government, Union Territory administration as well as the university affiliated to this college. The candidates are selected after the qualifying exam and /or the entrance examination in accordance with the policy of the university. Degree wise Admission Process

As per the intake approved for the college, the student intake would be 100 for this course. D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education):
Another program run by the GSN College of Education is the D.El.Ed with an intake approval of 50 students. Admissions to D.El.Ed are on merit, similar to B.Ed. The list of candidates is drawn based on the marks obtained by them in their qualifying examination and at the entrance test.
