Hope Institute of Bengal B Ed and D El Ed Section, Howrah Admission

Hope Institute of Bengal is a co-educational affiliated college providing Teacher Education through its B.Ed and D.El.Ed Section, Howrah, which offers two full-time programs: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).  Admissions were, as every year, being opened in the very beginning of the financial admissions process for the fall semester. However, in principle, eligibility is determined by the state government/university policy on how much or limited will perform for the admission process for the coming year. 

For admissions into B.Ed and D.El.Ed programmes, candidates must have passed the qualifying examinations of the approved board or university. The selection of students will be on the basis of merit evaluation determined from qualifying examination marks and/or performance in a prescribed entrance examination, as per the present state government or UT administration policy.

Application process

In general, the application process for admission to Hope Institute of Bengal B.Ed and D.El.Ed Section, Howrah follows:

1. Announcement of Admissions: The institute announces admissions through several channels. One such avenue is via its official website.

Admission Process as per Degrees

B.Ed: Approved intake of the Bachelor in Education program at Hope Institute of Bengal is for 100 places. Admission to the B.Ed course will be based on qualifying examination or entrance examination as defined by the applicable government regulations or the university. The full fee for availing B.Ed programme is Rs 1,50,000.

D.El.Ed: Approved for 100 seats the total intake of the Diploma in Elementary Education program is just the same. Admission to D.El.Ed will be similar to that of B.Ed, and further details would have merit talking for qualifying examination marks and/or entrance examination as directed by the Government of the State and/or UT administration. The full fee for the D.El.Ed program is Rs 96,000.
