Jajba Teacher Training College Gaya is a very specialized institution for teacher education. The college has two main programs: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). The admission process at Jajba Teacher Training College seeks to select capable candidates who are willing to become efficient educators. 

The college follows a different admission procedure for the B.Ed. courses and the D.El.Ed. courses. In the case of B.Ed. admissions based on merit considering the marks in qualifying examination and/or entrance examination.

Jajba Teacher Training College is a 40-student admitting institution with 100 sanctioned seats in B.Ed. and 50 in D.El.Ed. The college meets the national standards for teacher education and is working in the approval of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education):

The B.Ed. program at Jajba Teacher Training College is a two-year course aimed at preparing students for teaching at the secondary school level.

 The admission process for B.Ed. is on a merit basis, and the following shall be considered:

• Marks obtained in the qualifying examination
• Performance in the entrance examination (if applicable);
• Any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration and the university.

The B.Ed. program has an approved intake of 100 seats.

D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education):

D.El.Ed. is a two-year course aimed at training teachers for primary education. The admission process for D.El.Ed. is generally based on:

• A round of Personal Interview

The selection is then based on the candidate performance in both these stages. The college admits 50 candidates for the D.El.Ed. program.
