HP College of Education, Kala Amb, was instituted in 2003. This is one of the affiliate colleges established in the Sirmour district of Himachal Pradesh. Accreditation by NCTE in specialisations offered at the teacher education level are also accredited by this institute. The campus accommodates on a small, compact 1-acre land that has all the facilities and is also co-educational. HP College of Education has 196 students with an attached faculty of 24.

There are two hostels, boys and girls, well-arranged with all the basics and security measures. 

HP College of Education offers one full-time programme, a two-year B.Ed. As its name suggests, the B.Ed course is designed to prepare them for successful careers in the teaching profession, equipping trainees with necessary pedagogical skills and knowledge; a merit-based admission process will be followed.
