KL College of Pharmacy, Guntur was established in the year 2016 as a constituent college of the KL deemed to be University. It is located in Vaddeswaram, Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh. Being a co-educational college, it conducts courses in the field of Pharmaceutical Education. It is approved by the Pharmaceutical Council of India, New Delhi. In its 2-acre campus, KL College of Pharmacy offers three different courses on pharmacy with a capacity of 136 students. The institution boasts a strength of 26 faculty members in order to ensure better guidance for its students. The college seeks to continually strive harder to achieve excellence in pharmaceutical sciences by turning out students who will be competent and confident enough to take up any challenge that comes their way in the healthcare scenario.
Faculties are provided at KL College of Pharmacy, to support the students both academically and personally. The library acts as the central learning resource hub, having over 7,088 volumes and 728 titles, besides subscriptions to 45 national and 19 international journals. The e-library is well-maintained with 84 computers and 4 Mbps internet connectivity for digital learning.
Other facilities include many well-maintained and regularly updated laboratories like Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Anatomy and Physiology, and Pharmacognosy, which are important for practical training. KL College of Pharmacy campus also encompasses sports facilities, separate hostels for boys and girls, auditoriums for holding events and seminars, and a canteen. A health centre with first-aid facilities is maintained to keep up the well-being of the students. Besides, guest rooms have been provided for visiting faculty and family members.
KL College of Pharmacy offers five courses in pharmacy education. All courses are on a full-time basis, aimed at providing an intensive and focused study of the field of pharmacy.

The admission procedure in KL College of Pharmacy is different for different programmes. For B.Pharma and Pharm.D programmes, candidates have to clear the state-level engineering entrance exams; among these, AP EAMCET is mainly accepted as the entrance test. The institution also accepts NEET UG scores or state/national-level merit in sports/sports and cultural activities. The college will participate in AP EAMCET counselling, which generally occurs during the months of July-August every year.

The admission process at KL College of Pharmacy is tailored to qualify candidates for admission into the different pharmacy courses offered at the school.
Admission at the college is primarily on the basis of state-level engineering entrance examinations, among which is AP EAMCET that hearkens categorically for consideration to be the principal entrance test for admissions into the college. The other method through which admission may be facilitated is through the NEET UG examination scores or merit at the level of the state or the national merit at sports or cultural activities applicable for some courses.
The admission process for courses like B.Pharma and Pharm.D starts with AP EAMCET. The counseling for AP EAMCET is generally held around July-August of each year. Students qualifying at this entrance exam can apply to the counseling process to secure a seat.
Application Process
Particularly for B.Pharma and Pharm.D programs:
1. Register for either AP EAMCET or any of the other approved entrance tests (such as the NEET UG).
2. Qualify for the entrance exam with a cutoff rank.
3. Register for AP EAMCET counselling upon announcement (this usually occurs in July-August).
4. Present yourself on the counseling process and choose KL College of Pharmacy as preferred institute.
5. Attend the documents verification and formalities for admission at college in case of being allotted a seat.
In the case of M.Pharm:
1. Make sure that you are done with your B.Pharm or equivalent degree or in the last year of the course.
2. Apply for State Pharmacy Council registration (if not already registered).
3. Visit the college website or contact the admissions office for application procedures, which may incorporate an entrance exam requirement or just merit admission from undergraduate studies.
4. Submit all documents required along with B.Pharm Newspaper/ Certificate, Mark Sheets, and Pharmacy Council registration (or proof of application).
5. Attend any interviews or counselling sessions as required by the college.
For Ph.D. programs:
1. The eligibility criterion is: the most common one would be holding a master's degree in Pharmacy or allied fields.
2. This may require applying directly to the college, or clicking through any centralized Ph.D admissions process the college participates in.
3. Some entrance tests and/or interviews held by the college need to be attended.
4. Research proposals/submission of other documents.
Degree wise Admission Process
B.Pharma : The B.Pharma program accommodates 100 seats in KL College of Pharmacy. This program accepts a student on the basis of an evaluation from state-level engineering entrance exams, especially from AP EAMCET. Alternatively, applicants presenting NEET UG scores or having been accredited nationally/state on merit for their sports or cultural activity may also be accepted. The admissions process is through the procedure of counseling on the rank obtained from the entrance test.
Pharm.D: The Pharm.D program has an intake of 30 seats. Its admission process is also similar to the B.Pharma program that is, necessity of qualifying for state-level engineering entrance exams (like AP EAMCET) or presenting NEET scores. Sports and cultural merit at national or state level are also considered for admission.
M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics): Admission procedures for the M. Pharm course, which has 6 seats, are completely different. Applicants must either have to have registered with the State Pharmacy Council or get that within a month from date of admission else cancellation of admission would take place. The selection will likely be on the performance on their undergraduate degree and/or a related entrance examination for the postgraduate pharmacy programs.
Ph.D Pharmacy (Full-time and Part-time): Although the college runs Ph.D programs in Pharmacy (both full-time and part-time), no specific admission outline is provided for these programmes. Ph.D admissions usually have a separate application process, possibly including an entrance test and/or interview.
