Konkan Muslim Education Society’s College of Education was set up in Thane in 2010 and is located in Bhiwandi of Maharashtra. The National Council for Teacher Education recognised the institute, and it aims at providing specialised education. There are 217 students in total and 11 faculty members. With this setup, the college offers LMs for those interested in a teaching profession. The institute offers two full-time degree programmes. Undergraduate programme: B.Ed. and Diploma course. D.El.Ed., for students who wish to make the teaching profession their career.
