Konkan Muslim Education Society’s College of Education was set up in Thane in 2010 and is located in Bhiwandi of Maharashtra. The National Council for Teacher Education recognised the institute, and it aims at providing specialised education. There are 217 students in total and 11 faculty members. With this setup, the college offers LMs for those interested in a teaching profession. The institute offers two full-time degree programmes. Undergraduate programme: B.Ed. and Diploma course. D.El.Ed., for students who wish to make the teaching profession their career.

To its credit, the college has numerous resources to enhance student learning and personal growth. These are a library service, games and sports facilities, and a gym for the physical exercise. A cafeteria is also available on the campus, as well as a hall for events and seminars and the great provision of modern IT facilities. Speaking of accommodation, the college, since it caters for the students’ convenience, provides both boys’ and girls’ hostels to accommodate students from far-off places. It also has laboratories, smart classes, and Wi-Fi facilities for each campus to foster education and boost institute culture for the research. 

Two full-time education-based programmes are offered by the Konkan Muslim Education Society’s College of Education. The B.Ed. programme is meant for 100 students and the D.El.Ed. programme for 50 students, as per the approvals granted to both courses. The two programmes are therefore structured to produce professional teachers with adequate skills and knowledge in teaching.

The Conocimiento entry procedure at Konkan Muslim Education Society’s College of Education depends on the marks the students earned within the entrance examination or within the qualifying assessment. The college operates under admission policies determined by the state government of Maharashtra and the university to which the college is affiliated.
