KS Education College, Gwalior and is recognized as an affiliated college by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The aim of the institution is to serve the teacher education community and offers two full-time courses for prospective teachers intending to be trained for the profession. The selection at KS Education College is such as to invite suited candidates for both B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. programs. The admission of KS Education College has always been on merit. The performance in relevant examinations and tests are taken into consideration. For the B.Ed. the college follows the admission norms as laid down by the state government/UT administration and the university affiliated with it. The D.El.Ed. program also follows a merit-based admission system.

Application Process
The application process for KS Education College, Gwalior, generally consists of the following activities:
1. Declaration of Admission: This is the first step for the beginning of admission, which is announced by the college itself on its official website and in other media.
2. Application Form: All the candidates must fill in the application form, which may be downloaded from the college website or obtained in person at the college.
3. Document Submission: Candidates are required to submit their mark sheets of qualifying examinations (10th, 12th, and graduation/post-graduation as applicable), valid ID proof, passport-size photographs, and any other documents mandated by the college or the regulatory authority.
4. An application fee has to be paid by the candidate according to the instructions specified in the application.
5. Merit List Preparation: The college shall prepare the merit list based on the admission policy according to the overall performance in qualifying examinations and/or entrance tests.
6. Counselling & Seat Allotment: Candidates called for counselling would be allotted seats based on merit and availability.
7. Payment of Fees and Confirmation of Admission: Selected candidates need to pay their course fee and fulfill other admission requirements in a timely manner for seat confirmation.

Degree Wise Admission Process
B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education): The B.Ed. program at KS Education College is a 2-year full-time course having an intake capacity of 100 students. This program caters to the students aspiring to teach in secondary and higher secondary levels. Admission to B.Ed. would be made through merit based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The admission procedure is in accordance with the admission Policy of the State Government, UT Administration, and Affiliated University.
D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education): The D.El.Ed. program is a 2-year full-time course with an intake of 50 students every year. This program shall prepare candidates for the primary level teachings. Admission to D.El.Ed. shall also be based on merit obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The college maintains the admission standards formulated for this program by the state government and UT administration.
