Maa Sharda Mahavidyalaya, Chhatarpur, is a young and growing institution dedicated to teacher education. The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) recognizes the college among programs on teacher training.
This process at Maa Sharda Mahavidyalaya intends to prefer candidates successful in education and striving to build a career in teaching. Admissions are based primarily on merit and dependent on scores obtained in the qualifying examination; however, the institute may conduct its own entrance examination or substitute other modalities according to policies prescribed by the state government, Union Territory administration, or the affiliated university.
Application Process
It can be generalized that the process would entail in an eminent general admissions procedure such as:
1. Eligibility Check: Academic requirements must be completed for the program (BA B.Ed or B.Ed) being chosen.

Degree Wise Admission Process
BA B.Ed:
Maa Sharda Mahavidyalaya offers an integrated BA B.Ed program: a four-year course in liberal arts and education, which allows students to study for two separate degrees at the same time: a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education. Entrance into the merit-based course will be determined on the basis of percentage marks in qualifying exams and/or entrance examination performance. The approved intake for this program is 100 students.
B.Ed:
The college also offers a standalone B.Ed program, which is a two-year course designed specifically for teacher training. Like the BA B.Ed program, admissions to the B.Ed program are also merit-based, which considers the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or performance in an entrance examination. The approved intake for the B.Ed program is 50 seats.
For all these courses, the admission policies set by the state government, Union Territory administration, or the affiliated university would be followed for selecting students. This may also include some other processes of selection besides merit.
