Oriental College of Education Navi Mumbai Maharashtra came into existence in 2003 and is one of the most recognised teacher training college. Located at railway line backside of Sanpada Railway Station in sector 2, this co-educational institute nurtures the future of the education world. It is affiliated with a university, it adheres to a common set of educational policies as other affiliate institutions. The college enjoys recognition from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) in recognition of college’s quality teacher education. 

The school building of Oriental College of Education can therefore be described as self-contained and has most of the modern facilities that would facilitate learning of its students. The college owns well-furnished library and has riches long list of books and references for education as well as other disciplines. In regards to the teaching facilities and equipment, students have a Psychology Laboratory and a Science Laboratory which enhances the students’ training conditions and competencies with the aim of improving competence and skills in their respective discipline. Oriental College of Education only offers one course, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme. This full-time, regular course is spread over two years and is approved to admit 100 students. This programme aims at preparing prospective teachers to perform effectively and efficiently having acquired adequate knowledge skills and practical experiences apart from classroom teachings. 

The admission procedures for the B.Ed programme at Oriental College of Education involve a centrality of the admittance process. The Central Admission Process and also the Common Entrance test is administered by the Maharashtra Vinaanudan Adhyapak Mahavidyalaya Sansthachalak Association Pune.
