This co-educational college, Badvel, Andhra Pradesh, has been enlightening many aspiring educators since almost four decades ago. This institution was affiliated by NCTE and works under an affiliated college to ensure that its programmes meet up to rigorous academic standards. SBVR College of Education offers a focused range of courses in the field of education, which caters to both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Presently, the institute is offering three regular programmes B.Ed, M.Ed., and B.P.Ed. The B.Ed programme is the mainstay of the college, with an intake capacity of 150 seats, and the M.Ed with 50 students. 

Admission to SBVR College of Education is merit-based and transparent. Admission to the B.Ed. course shall be based on the marks obtained by a candidate in the qualifying examination and in an entrance examination. The college also considers any other selection process as per the policy of the State Government, Union Territory administration, and the affiliated University. Likewise, for the M.Ed. course, admission shall be strictly on merit, based on the candidate's performance in the qualifying examination and entrance test. In contrast, the B.P.Ed course admission is based on a more comprehensive selection process that includes written test, fitness test, interview, and percentage scored in qualifying examination.
