Seemanchal Minority B. Ed. College, Katihar, is recognized by the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE). Among the two main courses offered, the Bachelor of Education (B. The D. El. Ed. course is also provided in the form of a regular full-time course for 100 seats. This diploma course is aimed at preparing teachers in Elementary Education. The same admission procedure is applicable for D. El. Ed. as for B. Ed. Merit will be considered either in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination.
