Subhash Group of Education has its roots since 1991 founded by Late Dr. Paramhans Singh, a Military officer and philanthropist of Jharkhand. It is Dr. Paramhans Singh's vision that raised Subhash Group in such a widespread area. He began his journey from an Army public school, currently renowned as Subhash public school; entitled in honor of legendary freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose. A premise aims at nurturing legends with high morals and disciplined lives. Continuing the path towards the zenith, two sons of Dr. Paramhans Singh, Mr. Sanjay Singh and Mr. Bijay Singh, took over the charge.

The academic year usually starts for SIT Jamui offers 3 degrees 8 courses, after the higher secondary examination. There are always both diploma and undergraduate programs. The institute has a BBA programme with an intake capacity of 60, SIT Jamui also provides a BCA course with an intake of 60 seats,  so students across all types of educational backgrounds and careers can enroll.
