These stay in the human body for a short period of time. Fat-soluble vitamins can be stored for up to 6 months until the body needs them. ‌

The primary fat-soluble vitamins in the diet are vitamins A, D, E, and K. These are present in animal fats, butter, vegetable oil, dairy foods etc.
