Anjali Memorial College of Education and Training therefore is located in South 24 Parganas, West Bengal and is an individual institution dedicated to training teachers. This is a newly established and co-educational institution which has already in a short span of time gained a concrete place among the institutions related to education. This college that is coming under NCTE has two professional courses with an enrolment of 200 students in both the courses. Located in a small area of 0.75 acres, the institute now has a faculty position of 9 members. Established to offer B.Ed and D.El.Ed, Anjali Memorial College aims at producing quality teachers for the teaching profession.

Anjali Memorial College of Education and Training has a vision of successfully offering all round education to its learners. They have provided a variety of amenities to help improve students’ learning capacity. The campus facilities include a modern library to meet the need of students in terms of the sources likely to enhance their learning. For practical lessons the college has departmental based laboratories. As to meet modern education requirements, the institute has well developed and equipped IT facilities. Anjali Memorial College of Education and Training offers two full-time courses Bachelors in Education (B.Ed) and Certificate in Elementary Education  fails (D.El.Ed) or its equivalent. Each of the programmes can be completed in two years, allowing student to receive solid preparation to become educators. The B.Ed programme’s capacity is fifty while that of the D.El.Ed programme is also fifty making the total capacity to one hundred. These courses are designed to deliver the content knowledge and pedagogy important toward being a good teacher. 

Every year the college for Anjali Memorial College of Education and Training has specified admission criteria and follows the norms governed by the state government and other educational boards. As for the B.Ed programme, students are admitted based on the scores in the tests of the qualifying examination in combination with specific entrance tests. The college may also use other methods of selection as stipulated by the government of West Bengal and the affilating university. Likewise, for D.El.Ed course also the admission will be conducted on the basis of merit of the qualifying examination and entrance test as per norms of state government/ UT administration.
