Aryabhatta School of Earth Sciences traces its origin to 2009, Silchar. A constituent college of Assam University, this institution specialises in earth sciences education and research. It occupies a sprawling campus spread over 600 acres, thus offering adequate space for academic and research activities. With a faculty strength of 3 dedicated professionals, the school runs 2 programmes in Applied Geology at the postgraduate and doctoral levels.
