Facilities
Beant College of Engineering & Technology (BCET), Gurdaspur has the facility of the computer centre, library and hostel for the boys and girls. It also has the shopping complex and refreshment facility inside the campus.
Computer Center: The centre is maintaining and managing campus networking and Internet facility. It provides both wired and WiFi connectivity to students and staff. Service of wifi internet connectivity is extended to the hostels. The centre is connected to National knowledge Centre through 1Gbps internet leased line and it also has the facility of Cyberoam UTM, which acts as a firewall to protect the institute.
Central Workshop: The central workshop of BCET has machine tools and equipment. This is the common facility for all the branches and has machine tools & equipment. The centre provides training and also provides services in the form of repair.
Library: The library of BCET has a comprehensive collection of both conventional and electronic resources. The library follows the Open Access System. It helps the students to browse and select the document of their choice without any hindrance.
Hostel: BCET has four boys Hostels and one Girls Hostel. Hostel facility is equipped with all the modern facilities. It is well-lighted and well-ventilated. Amenities such as canteen, mess, Wifi, purified water, CCTV security and laundry services are provided in the hostel.
Dispensary: The dispensary of the BCET is well equipped. It has the facility of an oxygen cylinder, digital thermometer, sterilizer, autoclave, dressing drum, weight measuring machines, glucometer, B.P. apparatus, patient bed, stretcher, screen etc. Tata Sumo jeep is available for any emergency.
Shopping complex and refreshment facilities: The college has a shopping complex and refreshment facility inside the campus, which includes stationery & general store, bakery shop, juice shop, verka milk booth, NESTLE Nescafe Stall, canteen and mail Box.
Transportation: BCET provides transportation services, which is a great help for the students as they can save the time of travelling.
Clubs and Societies:
Phoenix Club: This club of BCET is working under a training and placement cell and coordinate between industries and students. It organises the training programme as per the need of the industries. The club regularly organises aptitude test, group discussion, placement preview test and personality development test.

Definitely DAV UNIVERSITY is far better. I am alumni of BCET so i can definitely tell you that...I just dont understand who are those giving positive reviews about BCET possibly they must have got promise of good internals or whatever. They dont even have windows in there IT and CSE labs..This is there level. You will learn a absolute 0 in 4 years. You are just gonna mug up the theory and that's it.
