BPS Institute of Teacher Training and Research, Sonipat, is one of the premier constituent colleges established in the year 1968 situated at Khanpur Kalan, Sonipat, Haryana. The institute is approved by NCTE, New Delhi, and thus, assures high standards of teacher education. With an enrolment of 375 students and a faculty strength of 13, the institute provides an individualized learning experience. 

The institution takes pride in its manifold amenities to enrich the learning experience of its students. The college library is a knowledge centre that boasts more than 12,000 books pertaining to different subjects. Added to this are 23 educational journals and 10 newspapers. Well-equipped laboratories form part of the physical setup of the institution. These include the Psychology lab, Educational Technology lab, Science lab, Social Studies lab, Art & Craft lab, and Computer labs. The institute also has a well-maintained seminar hall with a capacity of 200 seats, acting as a center for various academic and co-curricular activities ranging from workshops to seminars and even cultural events.
