About BVRIT Hyderabad College of Engineering for Women, Hyderabad
BVRIT Hyderabad College of Engineering for Women, Hyderabad was established under the Sri Vishnu Educational Society (SVES) in 2012 by Chairman Sri KV Vishnu Raju. It was initially started with an intake of 250 students offering admissions to four departments of Engineering namely Electronics and Electrical Engineering department, Electronics and Communication Engineering department, Computer Science Engineering department and Information Technology department. The Institute provides a variety of academic and infrastructural facilities to the students and faculty members of the Institute. BVRIT Hyderabad also has formed various student associations and clubs working for the progress of students by providing them with the platform to showcase their skills and talents.

The nearest airport from the Institute is the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport which is located 41.8 km away and students can reach the campus in approximately 1 hour. The nearest railway station from BVRIT Hyderabad is the Hafeezpet Railway Station which is 9 km away and students can reach the campus in approximately 20-25 mins.

Clubs, Committees & Societies:-
NSS- National Service Scheme (NSS) is a Youth Programme which is established under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. Students of BVRIT Hyderabad have also conducted various programmes under this scheme including international yoga day, blood donation, leprosy campaign, swachh bharat, literary campaign, mass cleaning, mass tree plantation, road traffic awareness, sand sculpturing, polio vaccine, disaster management, PFMS training etc. to spread awareness among the common people.
FOSS Club- FOSS Club aims to promote Open Source Software tools related to Aerospace, Avionics and the physical sciences for the research and development through conducting various workshops and lectures.
Sports Club- The Sports Club of BVRIT Hyderabad College of Engineering for Women has been formed to develop the skills and interests of students in sports. This club aims to promote a healthy and fit lifestyle by engaging students more in sports activities. Various events and competitions are also conducted by the members of this club. The members of this club also conduct various sports and recreational activities on National Sports Day.
E-Cell- E-Cell of BVRIT Hyderabad College of Engineering for Women, Hyderabad has been developed to polish the innovative and entrepreneurial skills of students. This club has been formed with the objective of providing a platform to the budding entrepreneurs in the near future by letting them know about the skills and strategies of the business field. Various events, workshops, business talks, industrial visits, live projects, experiential learnings are also conducted by this club to teach the students about the business related strategies practically.
Cultural Club- The Cultural Club is responsible for organizing all the cultural activities and events happening inside the college over the year. The Cultural Club looks after the Cultural events that have to be organized and conducted throughout the year.
CSI- Computer Society of India (CSI) of BVRIT Hyderabad College of Engineering for Women organise various expert talks, workshops and seminars to know about the technological developments related to the field of Computer Science and Engineering, Image Processing, Communication, Machine Learning and Information Technology.
ISTE- Indian Society for Technical Education has been developed by BVRIT Hyderabad College of Engineering for Women, Hyderabad for the overall development of students and teachers. Various programmes on career development of teachers and personality development of students are conducted so that they can also develop their skills and knowledge.
IETE- The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers have been developed to educate the students regarding the advancement of Science and Technology of Electronics, Telecommunication & IT. Various meetings, conferences, symposia, and exhibitions are also conducted for the members of the association to make them aware of the various opportunities related to different fields.
IEEE- Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers of BVRIT Hyderabad College of Engineering for Women, Hyderabad has been formed to meet the standards of the advancing technology. IEEE is a platform where students get to know and learn about engineering, computing, and technology information. IEEE also collaborates with various institutes and universities for the development of students in science, math, engineering, and technology.
IEI- IEI is a professional society of Engineering formed by BVRIT Hyderabad College of Engineering for Women which has been formed with the objective of providing non-formal education in engineering.
Meraki Language Club- Meraki Language Club has been formed to provide the students a platform to develop their creative skills, language and management skills by engaging themselves in various activities and events which involves fun and innovation. Students here are also encouraged to develop their communication, leadership and management skills and to work and achieve goals working as a team.
Toastmasters Club- The Toastmasters Club of BVRIT Hyderabad College of Engineering for Women, Hyderabad aims to develop the leadership and confidence of students so that it can help them in their professional lives. Students are encouraged to develop their self-confidence through public speaking and participating in debates and other speaking events.
Deeptha- Deeptha is an association formed by the students of Electronics and Electrical Engineering department to provide students with the platform to showcase and develop their extracurricular activities and skills. Various activities and events are conducted by the members of this club including poster presentations, workshops, extempore, debates, product launch, group discussions, circuit debugging etc to develop the creative, innovative and leadership skills of students by engaging them in different activities.
Electro Elitz- Electro Elitz has been formed by the students of Electronics and Communication Engineering department of BVRIT Hyderabad which organises various technical events and activities.
Tech Blitz- Tech Blitz has been formed by the students and faculty members of the Computer Science department and Information Technology department which conducts various technical and social events including group discussions, technical demos, seminars, industry workshops, programming and gaming contests etc.

BVRIT Hyderabad College of Engineering for Women, Hyderabad Admission Procedure:-
BVRIT Hyderabad offers admissions to B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering, B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering, B.Tech Information Technology, B.Tech Electrical and Electronics Engineering etc. Admissions to the Institute are offered through TS EAMCET and as per the guidelines of the Technical Education. Students can either get admissions based on TS EAMCET or through DTE. Detailed description of the admission procedure is mentioned below.
For B.Tech/B.E programmes-
Admissions are offered in two categories- Category A and Category B.
Category A admissions are offered based on TS EAMCET scores and Category B admissions are offered based on the regulations of Technical Education based on the qualifying marks.
Students have to apply online for admissions on the official website along with required documents and payment of fees based on marks in either of the two categories.
BVRITH Admissions will be offered after the verification of documents and payment of fees at the Institute.

BVRIT Hyderabad College of Engineering for Women, Hyderabad provides certain facilities to the students, staff and faculty members of the Institute including transportation, hostels, library, gym & yoga, temple, security etc. Detailed description of all the facilities provided to the students, staff and faculty members of the Institute are mentioned below.
Transportation- BVRIT Hyderabad provides transportation facilities to the students and faculty members of the Institute from 14 different routes. There are different timings scheduled for every route and students and faculty members who want to avail the facility need to board the bus on time.
Library- The library of BVRIT Hyderabad College of Engineering for Women is well equipped with 20031 volumes and 2673 titles of books, 55 National journals, 19 magazines, 1635 CDs and has access to 5448 e-journals. The library also has access to NPTEL, DELNET, J-GATE and IEEE-ASPP. The library is provided with a seating capacity of 150 persons.
Food & Cafeteria- BVRIT Hyderabad has a cafeteria which serves quality and hygienic food to the students and faculty members of the Institute at affordable prices.
Gym & Yoga- Gym and yoga facilities are also provided for students to keep them physically active and fit. The gym is well equipped with all necessary equipment. A fitness expert is also there to help the students during their workouts and exercises.
Temple- A temple is also there inside the campus where daily pooja is being conducted and aarti is done on Tuesday and Saturday.
Security- BVRIT Hyderabad College of Engineering for Women, Hyderabad is provided with CCTV cameras and security guards for the safety and security of students and other members of the Institute.
Hostels- BVRIT Hyderabad College of Engineering for Women also provides hostel facilities to the students of the Institute. Students have to fill separate application forms for getting rooms in hostels and rooms will then be allotted to students based on the availability. There are a total of 4 hostels inside the campus with a capacity to accommodate more than 500 students. All the hostels are provided with basic facilities including geysers, TV, water 24x7. Students are also provided with facilities of various outdoor and indoor games. Gym facilities are also provided for students who are fitness freaks and mess facilities are also provided which serves quality and hygienic food to students. Hostel wardens are also there to maintain rules and regulations inside the hostels and for the security of students.
