CSIT is one of the key constituent at the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad that was set up in 1992. The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University takes applications through two major ways, which are Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) and Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET).
