DCAB College, Raisen, was set up in 2009 as an affiliated college in Obedullaganj, Madhya Pradesh. Located in a small area of about 1 acre, this is a coeducational college approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college has two postgraduate programmes in education that take a total of 43 students. Having a scant faculty of 16, it is easy to manage a satisfactory student-teacher ratio so that the students of this college can enjoy individual focused knowledge transmission. The institute provides two full-time courses: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) with a duration of two years and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), also with a two-year programme. These two programmes admit 50 students annually for the entire range of courses and programmes, and in general, there are 100 approved positions. These programmes are meant to produce professionals who will teach or manage educational institutions, and this is in line with the colleges' specialisation in producing teachers.

The selection criteria for admissions in DCAB College are strictly on the basis of the marks score in the qualifying examination/any entrance examination, if held.
