Diamond Harbour Government Polytechnic, started functioning in the year 2014, is one of the most upcoming technical institutions in South 24 Parganas, West Bengal. Approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, DHGP offers three full-time diploma programs with a total student enrollment of 396.     This program has an intake of 60 students. Admission is based on the candidate’s performance in the WBJEE Polytechnic entrance exam and their 10th standard marks. The course focuses on civil engineering aspects such as structural design, construction technology, and surveying.

  • Diploma in Food Processing Technology
    The program has an intake of 60 students. Admission is granted through the WBJEE Polytechnic exam and consideration of 10th standard results. The curriculum covers food preservation techniques, quality control, and food processing equipment operation.

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
    This program also has an intake of 60 students. Candidates are selected based on their WBJEE Polytechnic scores and academic performance in the 10th standard. The course provides training in mechanical engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and industrial automation.

For all programs, candidates must meet the basic eligibility criteria set by the institute and the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education (WBSCTE).
