Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): The B.Ed course in Gaureshwar Naraian Singh Teachers Training College has an authorized intake of 100 students. Admission in the course is based purely on merit, which comprises of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The process of selection may include such additional criteria as may be determined by the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration and the university. Candidates should have done graduation or post-graduation on any course from a recognized university to be eligible for admission to the B.Ed program.

D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): 100 students are also provided with the intake at the D.El.Ed program. The pattern for admission of D.El.Ed is similar to that of B.Ed course. Selection for entry into the D.El.Ed program is also by merit. Candidates are ranked according to performance in the qualifying examination and/or through an entrance examination. Admission follows the regulations of the state government/UT Administration. For all intents and purposes, D.El.Ed eligibility requires 10+2 or equivalent examinations through a recognized board.
