    GCAC, or Government College of Art and Craft, Kolkata, is one of the premier institutions in the country, rich in heritage since 1864. Situated at 28 Jawaharlal Nehru Road, Kolkata, this historic institution has been serving with the nurturing of artistic genius for more than 150 years. Being an affiliated college, GCAC offers a concentration of curriculum in Fine Arts to 470 students. The campus of the college is small—1.58 acres—yet full of energy, and so assures an ideal teaching-learning environment. GCAC has 30 dedicated faculty members who provide individual care and support to the students. The student-to-teacher ratio in this college is very impressive.

    The Government College of Art and Craft aims at offering its students an all-rounded learning experience.
