Established in the year 1961, Government Autonomous College of Dentistry, Indore is an affiliated college of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore. Govt Dental College Indore offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses at its campus. GDC College Indore offers the BDS course at the UG level whereas the MDS degree in 9 specialisations is offered in the PG domain. 

The MDS courses are offered in disciplines like Public Health Dentistry, Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, Oral Medicine and Radiology, Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and Oral Microbiology. Admission to the undergraduate BDS programme at GDC College Indore is based on the NEET-UG score and All India Rank in the online NEET All India Counselling. The candidate is required to fill out Government Dental College Indore as their college of preference in online counselling. At the PG level, qualifying for the NEET-MDS examination is mandatory for GDC College Indore admissions.
