  • Eligible candidates need to submit an online application form by registering, uploading the required documents and paying the application fee within the stipulated time period. 

  • Once the application process is completed, candidates are required to submit a copy of application form along with the documents at the designated help centre for document verification. 

  • The authority releases a provisional merit list. Candidates with their names on the merit list are required to fill their preferences. Candidates can also change their preferences after the mock allotment result. 

  • Candidates on the basis of merit list are allotted seats. At this stage, if candidates are not satisfied with their result they can cancel the admission. 

  • Candidates who are allotted seats in Government Polytechnic Jamnagar need to submit admission fee within the stipulated time to secure their seats in the institution.

  • Class 10/equivalent exam marksheet/certificate.

  • School Leaving certificate.

  • Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC), should submit their caste certificates issued by the Government.

  • Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate of the family, which is issued by the authority of the Gujarat Government.

  • A physically handicapped candidate should submit the Certificate of Physical Disability which is issued and signed by the Civil Surgeon/Medical Authority.

  • Ex-Serviceman certificate should be issued by the Director, Sainik Welfare Board Gujarat State or by the District Sainik Welfare Officer.

  • In-Serviceman Certificate should be issued by the Commanding Officer of the respective unit.

  • If the candidate is a certificate holder, he/she should submit the mark sheet issued by TEB or ITI or IGTR.

  • Income certificate issued by the Government.

Building is good can say also spread in large area has many sections and labs too yet sometimes get confused due to lack of proper directions. Rest few facilities are good and classrooms are clean but dont have their own canteen.
