About Government Polytechnic, Mohammadi Kheri

Government Polytechnic Mohammadi Kheri was set up in the year 2017. It is an affiliated college that is located at Eastern Kheri Industrial City, District Kheri, Uttar Pradesh. This technical institution is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), which means that the qualifications offered in the field of engineering do fulfil quality standards. Located on the 7-acre campus, the polytechnic currently has three diploma programmes with specialisations in different engineering fields. Hence, like ITI, the major emphasis is kept on teaching trade for skill development of technicians to suit the industry needs. To support its student-centere approach, the polytechnic must have a minimum faculty strength of one to teach budding engineers. 

Government Polytechnic Mohammadi Kheri  is equipped with several centres to improve the learning standards of students enrolled at the institute. The computer lab is comfortable and fully equipped with computer facilities; it has been designed with white and black boards, broadband Internet, video projection, and is fully air-conditioned to create a proper practical area for the students. The institutional library as a centre of learning boasts over 3000 printed books and subscribes to the membership of the National Digital Library for students to access digital and electronic resources. Every student gets an email to this digital library, hence making it easy to access the learning materials. As mentioned above, Government Polytechnic Mohammadi Kheri provides a total of three diploma full-time engineering courses. Diploma in Electrical Engineering: This has also a total intake of 60 seats and caters to the knowledge of fundamentals and practical aspects of Electrical Engineering. Admissions are done through JEECUP and counseling as with all the others. The annual fee for this program is Rs 38,010.

The admission process for all such programs must have the students clearing the entrance test conducted by the Joint Entrance Exam Council, Lucknow, called JEECUP. After that, the candidates have to attend counseling grant for seat allotment.
