    Guru Nanak College of Education, Jammu- an affiliated college situated in Jallochak, near Balol Bridge, Jammu and Kashmir, was established in the year 2001. This college is a co-educational college whose unique concern is to offer quality education particularly in the area of teacher training. Set on an area of 1 acre, this college has a total student intake in B.Ed and which is 82 students. It has a faculty strength of seven members, this means that students of the institution are well attended and guided. 

    There are various facilities in Guru Nanak College of Education in order to improve the experience of students in learning. Facilities: The college has separate hostels for boys and girls with telephone, water cooler and television facilities. A canteen is available on the school compound where students, members of staff and visitors can buy foods and beverages at moderate prices. The collage library, equipped with more than 3 000 text and reference books, is also an important facility of the college. Also, the institution has a very equipped computerised lab that is connected to the internet to meet the modern education technology . Extra curricula activities include an auditorium for cultural shows & seminars; games & sports facilities for volleyball, badminton, cricket and more.
