Admissions at IPER Bhopal are conducted on a programme basis. Institute of Professional Education Research admission to the flagship MBA programme is based on scores in the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT). The Directorate of Technical Education of Madhya Pradesh (DTE) provides the admission experience for CMAT-qualified applicants. For candidates who didn't qualify for the CMAT, specialised counseling is held, subject to DTE guidelines, according to their graduation percentage.
Commonly, admissions into undergraduate courses such as BBA and B.Com are held on the basis of merit list. The institute considers the academic performance of the candidates through their qualifying examinations (i.e. 10+2) for these particular courses.
IPER Bhopal has a different admission process for all the programmes.
Applying for a course is contingent upon meeting its prerequisites.
IPER Bhopal has an intake of 300 students for the MBA. Admissions are based on the result of CMAT. Institute of Professional Education Research admission counseling for such candidates will be conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education of Madhya Pradesh. Separate counseling will be conducted as per the graduation percentage for candidates who could not appear for CMAT and will strictly follow DTE norms.
The BBA programme is based on a merit list for admission. The Institute of Professional Education Research considers the academic performance of candidates in their 10+2 examinations. Not specific about eligibility criteria and number of seats, but those interested should have passed higher secondary school.
Similar to the BBA programme, admission is made through a merit list for B.Com. Eligibility criteria require completion of 10+2 class with commerce or related subjects. There are various specialisations offered under B.Com, such as B.Com (Hons), B.Com Advertising and Sales Promotion, B.Com Banking and Insurance, and B.Com Foreign Trade.
