Kamala Baliga College of Education, Kumta, has a glorious history of imparting teacher training. Application Process
Kamala Baliga College of Education, Kumta, has a selection procedure covering many steps to ensure fairness and comprehensiveness:
1. Admission Announcement: The college makes a public announcement about the commencement of the admission process through its official channels.
2. Application Form: The candidates need to obtain and fill out the application form after acquiring it from either the online link or the college admissions office personally.
3. Document Submission: Candidates are required to submit the duly filled application form along with all supporting documents to their application. These generally include:

Degree-wise Admission Process
B.Ed: Kamala Baliga College of Education has an approved intake of 100 students for B.Ed. The admission of the student considered by merit, i.e. on the basis of marks in the qualifying examination and/or performance in the entrance examination. The other possible method of selection shall be as per the state government policy, UT administration, and the university. The two-year program offers advanced studies in educational theory and practical applications.
M.Ed: Available with 50 seats for admission, the Master of Education (M.Ed) program follows a similar selection process to that of the B.Ed. Eligible candidates are selected based on merit in the qualifying examination and/or performance in an entrance examination. Besides the B.Ed and M.Ed selection process, the college reserves the right to adopt any other selection process as may be applicable per the State Government, UT administration, and the University. The two-year postgraduate program seeks to develop advanced skills and knowledge in educational theory and practice.
