Katihar Teachers Training College is one of the finest educational institutions in India which is situated in Katihar, Bihar, providing teacher education. Degree-wise Admission Process

B.Ed Admission: The B.Ed Program of Katihar Teachers Training College comprises full-time study over two years during  which students are thoroughly trained in educational theory and practice. It is highly competitive with admission based on the entrance test from the State Model University, Bihar. Total approved intake for the courses is 100. The applicant should hold a bachelor's degree or its equivalent qualification in order to be eligible for the course. D.El.Ed Admission: Katihar Teachers Training College offers a D.El.Ed program to provide training of teachers at the elementary education level. The college conducts its own entrance test for this program, which has an approved intake of 50 students. According to this process, it is compulsory to take part in the entrance test through which the college conducts its selection criteria. The requirements for D.El.Ed admission generally state that those candidates who complete their higher secondary (10+2) education or the equivalent study level are eligible; the more excellently candidates perform in the entrance tests, the higher the chances of admission.
