KCT College of Pharmacy of Gulbarga was started or the academic year 1991-92 These are one of the relic institutions in Karnataka State dedicated for the education of Pharmacy. It is a co educational college situated at Qamar-ul-Islam Colony of Roza Gulbarga and now it occupies 19 acres of land. Being an affiliated college to Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), the KCT College of Pharmacy offers two specific programmes in the field of pharmacy education. Currently the institute has a total student enrolment of 248 and has 18 members on the faculty, this makes the institute provide a serene environment for students who intend to venture into the field of pharmacy.
The college has invested in a host of facilities that enable a positive and effective college experience of the learners. There are well equipped libraries as knowledge centre and pharmacy has lots of literatures and research materials for students to read. Physically, the campus comprises ultramodern laboratories that are essential for practical leaning and experiments that are essential for a Pharmacy College. Any students who need to stay there for convenience can do so in the boys’ hostel for outstation students. This college also values the community’s health and their health services has on-site amenities such as the health center for first aid services. Of course, to ensure a balanced work and personality, reception of which is also one of the aims of KCT College of Pharmacy, the College has facilities for sport and sections for exercises in the stadiums and gyms. The campus has also been provided with an Auditorium Hall for events and Seminars to make the campus a lively scholarly environment. The students and staff’s eating place is a cafeteria, accommodations for the visiting staff & faculty and their family is done in the guest house. As for technology, the college has made significant investment in its IT facilities as can be seen in their excellent technology which prepares the students in making use of the recent development in the pharmaceutical field.
KCT College of Pharmacy has provided two good packages of the course in the stream of pharmacy. The institute also offers a one and half year Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma), and a four years Bachelor in Pharmacy (B.Pharma) course say the sources. The admission process in the college is standard so as to allow entry to students having the right aptitude and academic background for their courses. As for eligibility criteria; any candidate applying for the D.Pharma course must have cleared 10+2/ equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Application Process

B.Pharma: The Baccalaureate program of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), of KCT College of Pharmacy, is a four-year program with an approved intake of 40 seats. Admissions usually are based on the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination of 10+2 or equivalent, and scores in the relevant entrance test may be considered as per regulatory guidelines.
