Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, physiotherapy, nursing, AYUSH, hospital management, and public health through its constituent units. Allied Health Science, courses include B.Sc., BPH, M.Sc., MPH, MHA and Fellowship Programmes. It also includes the PG Diploma and certificate courses. The admissions to medicine, dentistry, AYUSH courses are through the national level entrance examinations - NEET-UG and NEET PG. Candidates who are seeking admission under state quota and admission at Government Medical Colleges have to appear for the Common Entrance examination conducted by KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) or through All India Entrance Examination (AIEE). Candidates who are seeking admission under management quota in a private medical college have to appear for either COMEDK entrance examination conducted by COMEDK or KRLM entrance examination conducted by KRLM. MBBS aspirants at the national level have to appear for the NEET-UG entrance exam, conducted by National Testing Academy (NTA) and obtain a valid score. For admission to postgraduate programmes candidates have to appear for the NEET-PG entrance exam, conducted by National Testing Academy (NTA) and obtain a valid score. Admissions to the undergraduate and postgraduate courses to the pharmacy, physiotherapy, nursing, hospital management, naturopathy and yogic science and public health are through the PG Entrance Test, conducted by KEA. Application form for MBBS and B.Pharma programs offered by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science can be downloaded online from the university website “www.rguhs.ac.in”. After downloading the application, take a print out of the application form. Fill in the application form and upload it online on the university website. Also, pload the scanned copy of enclosures and pay the application fee of INR 400 (for general category candidates)/ INR 100 (For SC/ST category candidates). Click on submit to complete the application process.
Passed in 2 years pre-university examination with English as one subject and Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects with minimum 50% marks for General candidates and 40% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
