Located on Hanumangarh Road, this co-educated college is affiliated with Maharshi Dayanand University Rohtak and dedicated to training future teachers. This institute is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, short NAAC, and recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education, short NCTE, meeting the quality education benchmarks. Kenway College is spread over a 5-acre campus and offers three specialised education courses for its total student strength of 471. They have a strength of 47 faculties that ensure that the college has a proper ratio of students to teachers to ensure they get full support.

One of the artifacts of this college is that it has equipped itself with effective and efficient facilities that are a plus for learning among the students. The library, as one of the major academic references, is completely automated employing E-Granthalaya Software. It compiles lists of resources/documents, electronic journals/e-journals, and electronic books/e-books for students; a membership to the N-LIST programme of INFLIBNET for Students. Sports lovers will be able to develop themselves further since there are open field facilities for athletics, basketball, and volleyball, besides indoor facilities for badminton and table tennis. Kenway College of Education holds three complete courses out of teacher education for the different kinds of training requirements for teachers. For preparatory programme, B.Ed has intake capacity of 200, M.Ed and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) have intake capacity of 50 each. These ones are to prepare the students with the right skills and knowledge to enable him or her to pursue a teaching profession.

Kenway College of Education only admits students on the basis of the marks scored by students in their qualifying exams and entrance tests. Admission for the B.Ed. programme is done under the section of the state government policy and university norms. The choices in the case of the M.Ed. programme are also made depending upon the quantitative score in the qualifying examination or entrance test. Primarily admissions to Kenway College of Education would be merit-based, according to board marks obtained in qualifying exams and/or entrance tests. Admission policies would also be compliant with those of the state government and U.T. administration as well as of the university the college is affiliated with. 

Admissions for the year usually commence a few months before the actual start of the academic session. The application procedure for Kenway College of Education, Abohar, is as follows:

4. Entrance Examination: Candidates whose programs fall under the entrance examination must appear for the exam on the specified day. Admission tests and other important details are provided in the college website or information brochure.

5. Preparation of Merit List: Qualified candidates are then prepared into a merit list according to this examination score and/or qualifying.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): The B.Ed course offered at Kenway College of Education has 200 seats as permitted intake. The admission criterion is merit, based on marks obtained in qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination. The selection process follows with those of the state government, U.T. administration, and that of the university. Candidates eligible to apply to the B.Ed program should have graduation in relevant subjects.

M.Ed (Master of Education): The M.Ed program has a capacity of 50 at Kenway College for study in education. Like the B.Ed program, admission into the M.Ed program depends on merit as determined by marks in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The college also adopts the selection process according to policies of the state government as well as U.T. administration and the university. Candidates with a B.Ed degree or equivalent can join the M.Ed program.

D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): The D.El.Ed program at Kenway College of Education has an intake capacity of 50 seats. Admission to this course is made strictly on the basis of the qualifying marks secured by an applicant in the qualifying examination, along with an entrance test conducted to admit candidates in the D. El. Ed program. The educational qualification required for this diploma course is essentially successful passing of higher secondary (10+2).
