PUCHD Facilities
The PU Chandigarh has a beautiful landscaped campus that is unfurl over 550 acres in Sector 14 and 25 in Chandigarh. The Panjab University infrastructure promotes the overall growth of the students and due to which it facilitates excellence in every area. PU is an architectural splendor having gained its glory back after a decade long precarious existence from the time of Indian Independence. PU is designed in red sandstone architecture by designer Pierre Jeanneret in guidance with Le Corbusier. Its main campus has 15 centers/chairs for teaching and research and 78 teaching and research departments.
The Panjab University facilities ensure that students are comfortable. PU facilities provide students with a lively atmosphere which creates positive energy in them to do good in all aspects. Talking about Panjab University infrastructure, the institute provides accommodation in the hostels separately for boys and girls. The halls used for purposes of seminars and libraries are well-furnished with the latest applied science to facilitate superior learning. Also they have dedicated sports facilities that promote physical activity between the students. A panicle of eminent buildings like the Gandhi Bhawan, the University Library, the Fine Arts Museum and the Student Centre add feather to the cap of PU. The Three winged Gandhi Bhawan is adjudged iconic due to its exterior finishes, structural transformation and profile. It is an auditorium hall that is surrounded by a pond of water. The Fine Arts Museum, has a series of small galleries that are arranged around a courtyard wherein each gallery has a hyperbolic paraboloid roof (umbrella shaped). It is not only an architectural but also a structural marvel. The university library which is another crucial building, in Sector 14 Chandigarh is completely built with RCC structure having red sandstone veneers. The Student Centre which has a disk shaped base and a ramp quivering around its circular body, is also a landmark building.
Other PU infrastructure includes WiFi, shuttle service, Auditorium halls, Classrooms, residential accommodation for the faculties, shopping centers, banks, post office, open air theatre, sprawling green lush gardens, plenty of open spaces. In addition to these Panjab University has facilities and infrastructure wherein the college campus is well-connected to the territory and students can avail public transport in easy way. The students can go for auto rickshaw or even opt in for taxis or they also have the facility to take the bus to travel into the territory. PU is at 25km from the airport and 10km from the railway station due to which the students and guests can easily come to the campus within just about an hour of surface travel from the bus, airport or the railway station.

See, if you are facing difficulties in completing and covering syllabus properly from PU books then i would recommend you to move to NCERT books especially for Chemistry and for Physics go for HC verma..8 hours is good but when you have to score good marks then you should not think about time, you just think about completing the syllabus properly so that you can secure good marks.

Hello Dear,
For repeaters there will be a chance to upload qualifying exam marks card and marks in particular date and time, The KCET have mentioned it in their brochure and also they will send SMS to inform you to upload marks card if you forget it. You need to upload the scanned copy of your marks-card in their official website when they inform you to do the same.

Good Luck
Sir, i have laminated my original PU marks card without sign in candidate signature and unknowingly I have submitted in my college for verification in vtu will they accept it???
Dear Aspirant,
This may pose to be a problem later on, it's always safe to clear these things beforehand itself. You'll have to inform VTU officials about the error from your end. It may or may not cause a problem but they will held you responsible later on if you don't give them an update. It might completely go unnoticed too but why to unnecessarily take risks. Contact the officials & make them aware of the error.
Thanks. Hope it helps.
