KSS B. Ed. and M. Ed. College, Davangere, is a premier teacher education college situated in Karnataka State, India. It started functioning in the year 2006. This is a co-educational college affiliated with a university and provides particular programmes in education. Recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the college remains an institution of considerable educational integrity. Through the student intake of 180 and faculty of 16 KSS B.Ed. and M.Ed., College is dedicated to offering tailored education to students who are willing to become educators. The college offers two full-time degree programmes: teachers’ education at the undergraduate level at the bachelor's level with the appropriate title ‘Bachelor of Education’ (B.Ed.) and at the postgraduate level with the title Master of Education’ (M. Ed.).

The college has a variety of facilities that the college uses to improve the learning experience of the students. It is an essential scholarly source that contains more than 3,000 books, among which there can be found texts to determine the peculiarities of teaching. It also belongs to several educational journals that would enable the students to access new information sundries in education. The library has adequate space to contain more than 100 students at a time, effectively for learning and reading. In this college, practical learning is well enhanced by well-equipped laboratory departments. Among these are the physics laboratory, chemistry laboratory, biology laboratory, and educational psychology laboratory, all equipped with laboratory materials and equipment that meet the curriculum. The latter includes the Educational Technology Lab, which offers various pieces of audio and visual equipment for students to get acquainted with modern methodological tools.

KSS B.Ed. and M.Ed. College provides two courses—B.ED. and M.ED.—both are full residential courses. The B.Ed. programme has an intake capacity of one hundred students and for M.Ed., approximately thirty-five students are there. These programmes are created for the students to create professional careers in teaching and educational management. The total student intake as well as direct admissions for the college are at 180 and graphically depict the aim of the college to ensure quality education with a restricted number of students in a class.

Admission process is on merit basis which indicates the intention of the college towards education to focus on quality learning. For the B.Ed. program only merit for the qualifying examination is considered and in some cases an entrance test conducted by the colleges/Universities admission will be given based on the marks obtained in the same. 

The process is executed in compliance with the Central Government policies, State Government policies and the affiliated University policies. Likewise, for M.Ed the admissions are offered based on merit, with regard to marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance test as provided under the guidelines of State Government, UT administration and the University. Such a chronological process increases the likelihood of the college admitting learners who are enthusiastic of and capable to practice education.

The college is located in Davangere at No. 1382/5, 6 Mathru Krupa II, and Cross Bus Stop Saraswathi Nagara. It helps the students to create a sound environment conducive to learning. Other infrastructural amenities that make the college unique include a computer laboratory, special sports facilities, a college dining hall and a facility health centre with first aid amenities.
