Lalit Mohan Memorial College of Education, Nadia was started in 2016 and hence is one of the newer institutions building the future of education. Located at Purba Nawa Para, Ranaghat, West Bengal, this co-educational college is among the affiliated institutions under the National Council for Teacher Education. There are two special education courses running presently under this institution with a total enrolment of 163 students for all courses combined. The Institution has maintained a healthy faculty strength of 32 experienced teachers to ensure a good student-to-teacher ratio for individual attention and better instructions.

D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education):
Similar to the 100 seats approved for the B.Ed program, the admission process for this diploma is conducted with an intake of 100 seats in total. The same procedure as B.Ed is used for this course, whereby it remains on merit after considering the performance of candidates in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. Such policies as are established by respective educational authorities will apply. All candidates seeking elementary education must also meet eligibility guidelines for admission into the D.El.Ed program.
