It is Maa Sharda Mahavidyalaya, Fatehpur, which was established in the year 2008. Being an affiliated college, Maa Sharda Mahavidyalaya is situated in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, India. The college is housed on a compact campus of 1.0559 acres, and the college has been slowly expanding its academic services and physical infrastructures over the years. Students' enrolment is 1,445, and the faculty members' strength is 45 professionals.

Admission to Maa Sharda Mahavidyalaya is programme-specific. Most of the Undergraduate Programmes will be merit-based admissions in keeping view with the marks obtained in Qualifying examinations, except in the case of Specialised Undergraduate Degree programmes such as B.Ed and D.El.Ed for which more structuring is incorporated into the admission procedure. In the case of B.Ed, the admission is made on merit basis on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examination and an entrance examination. The process of selection is guided by the State Government/UT Administration and the affiliated University. Admission into the D.El.Ed programme is merit-based through marks from qualifying examinations and entrance tests, as are determined by policies of the state government.
