Basically, all the admission processes for these doctoral programs are the same in nature. The selection is based on his qualifications, a research proposal (not more than 750 words), and a personal interview. Thus the most suitable candidates possessing exceptional research aptitude are selected for these programs.

Fellowship Programs (in Sociology, Political Science, and Economics): Besides the Ph.D. programs, MIDS offers fellowship programs in Sociology, Political Science, and Economics. Although there are no admission procedures specifically for these fellowship programs, it may be assumed that a similar selection process as that of the institute applies so that quality research output is guaranteed.
