Affiliated college namely Mahatma Gandhi College of Education, Solaiseri founded in the academic year 2007-08 is located at Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu. This school for boys and girls is located on the 5 hectare area and has a mission to prepare future educationalists. Affiliated to National Council for Teacher Education( NCTE) the college has two Specialisations in Education. At present the total number of under graduate student is 284 and total faculty members 26 so the student-teacher ratio is perfect for better quality education.

This college has a variety of facilities to improve the learning environment of the institutions enrolled students. A spacious library forms a part of every school as a house of knowledge and upgraded IT, intellectual grant helps the students for new technologically updated education system. It also has a spacious hall for events/ seminars adding on the academic feel of the institution campus. Sports centre provide good health and positive attitude towards team work among students. Medical personnel to provide necessary first aid services to the college fraternity are available from a health center. The campus includes a canteen for the students, accommodation for guest and a well-equipped laboratory for practicals. Users of these facilities, mostly students, can perform their academic activities effectively in comfortable classroom facilities.
