Manikaka Topawala Institute of Nursing (MTIN) Petlad is a distinguished constituent institution of the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi. For undergraduate programs such as B.Sc Nursing and General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM), completion of the 12th standard in the Science stream is among the most significant eligibility criteria. Degree-wise Admission Process
B.Sc. Nursing: This 4-year undergraduate program has 60 seats for admission, which is determined by the performance of the candidate in the 12th standard, especially Science subjects. The fee structure for the program is Rs. 1,56,000.
GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery): This 3-year program has an intake of 40 seats. Admission is based on the same 12th standard performance in Science subjects as that of B.Sc Nursing. The total fee for the GNM program is Rs. 1,10,000.
M.Sc Nursing: The major areas of specializations offered are Medical Surgical Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing, and Community Health Nursing. Each will have an intake of 4 seats. Admission to these 2-year postgraduate programs may take undergraduate academic performance into account, besides an entrance examination or interview. The total fee for the M.Sc. programs is Rs. 1,92,000.
Ph.D. Nursing: Admission to the doctoral program is based on the candidate's performance in the CHARUSAT Doctoral Entrance Test (CDET). The seat limit and fee structure has not yet been prescribed.
