MK College of Education is an affiliated college in Jalandhar district established in 2005 to nurture the budding teacher. Located at Shahpur, Udhopur, near Lambra this institute is situated in a vast precinct of 5.23 acres providing the students a conducive learning ambience. Approved by the National council for teacher education, the college offers three-year degree course to meet the 요구 of the children of God sufficient and the annual intake of 161 students is managed by 15 faculty members.

MK College of Education offers two full-time courses: offer two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) with one hundred seats availability and Two years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) with fifty seats availability. These programmes therefore aim at preparing the students for careers in this field through availing to them relevant information and skills that they require. The total number of students of this college is 161, which says that college has limited number of class strength and it gives more concentration in educating students. This helps in providing on one on one contact between the faculty and the students thus enhancing learning.

The admission policy of MK College of Education is followed with the strict legislation as prescribed by the Punjab Government, Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar and National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). For the B.Ed programme, candidate will be selected on the basis of score obtained in B.Ed Entrance Test conducted by any recognised university or merit list prepared from B.Ed qualifying exam. On one side the admission procedure for the D.El.Ed is through counseling arranged by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Mohali, on the other hand the management quota seats are filled on merit by the college.
