National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj-NIRDPR, better known as NIRDPR Hyderabad, is the premier institution for research and training on rural development and panchayati raj. This Government of India institution is located at Rajendranagar in Hyderabad, Telangana. The institution was accorded permission by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to undertake research and focus on rural poor development. NIRDPR specializes in offering post-graduate education that is tailored to rural-involved managers for future association in and with this crucial sector. Admission Process

1. Visit the official NIRDPR website and locate the information about the admissions or application section. 

2. Choose the desired program (PGDM in Rural Development Management, PGD in Sustainable Rural Development, PGD in Geospatial Technology Applications in Rural Development , or PGD in Tribal Development Management) .

3. Fill out the online application form with correct personal and educational details.

4. Upload required documents, which may include:

• Passport size photograph
• Academic transcripts and certificates for the 10, 12th, and undergraduate degree- Work experience certificates, if any - Statement of purpose emphasizing interest in rural development

5. Pay the application fee via the mode prescribed.

6. Submit the completed application form online.

7. Await further correspondence from NIRDPR concerning the selection process, which may include a written test and/or personal interview.

8. On selection, complete the hold of admission as per formalities such as document verification and payment of prescribed fees.

Degree wise Admission Process

PGDM in Rural Development Management: This is the core offer of NIRDPR that admits an approved strength of 60 students each year. It is a course meant for building the nuances in tomorrow's leaders to be adept at facing and dealing with challenges that affect sustainable rural development.

PGD in Sustainable Rural Development: This is another PG Diploma course with an approved student intake of 250 people. The course exposes students to a comprehensive understanding of applying sustainability in rural development.

PGD in Geospatial Technology Applications in Rural Development: This is a course which has been approved to accommodate 150 students. It melds geospatial technologies with developmental strategies in rural areas. It is meant for individuals interested in futuristic purposes of using sophisticated tools for planning and development of rural areas.

PGD in Tribal Development Management: This is a specialized program with an approved intake of 100 students. It is meant for people who are inclined towards working specifically with tribal communities and their development issues.
