NKT National College of Education for Women, Chennai which started in 1966 is also an autonomous college for women specialising in teacher education. This is a self financing college located in Triplicane, Chennai, operating on 3 acres area, approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Out of 6 courses, the college teaches five degree programmes related to education in different perspectives. NKT National College of Education for Women possesses a set of number of facilities.
