NKT National College of Education for Women, Chennai, is an autonomous institution providing teacher education to women. The college is recognized by NCTE-National Council for Teacher Education and is accredited by NAAC. It provides various programs related to education. Admission Process Degree wise 

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): NKT National College has a sanctioned intake of 200 seats for the B.Ed program. Admission is based on merit regarding the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in an entrance examination. M.Ed (Master of Education): Admission into the M.Ed program, which has an intake of 50 seats, takes place in the same way as for the B.Ed program, which is by merit of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination or selection through entrance examination or any other method of selection as required by government and university policies. 

B.Ed Special Education Visual Impairment: This program with a specialization has been approved for 30 seats.
