NSR College of Education, which began in 1972 is one of the premier institutions for educational needs of the newly formed Telangana state. This affiliated college, accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), has been designing the future of prospective teachers for well over fifty years. Located on a 4.8 acres of land, the institute provides intensive learning for the 171 students that it admits. The faculty of NSR College is limited to 8 members and this approach guarantees individual focus and the college focuses on providing effective education in teacher training.

The focus of college to develop professional teachers is seen from the course that must be offered to the students which include Classroom Management Strategies, Educational Psychology, and Emerging Methodologies in Education.
